Hello Everyone!!

Sorry for not being such a good blogger...but i've been trying to get my house done, you know, painting, flooring, etc. etc. etc., which, of course, is not done yet! LOL

Anyway, I did manage to make my own original version of "Alice" now listed on my Etsy. I really enjoyed creating Alice and her flamingo. The set comes with 4 clay hedgehogs in a paper mache handpainted box, which is also a stand for the flamingo. Alice and her flamingo are both posable.

Soooo...I promise to be a better blogger real soon!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

New Doll

Valentine Doll

This is the doll I created for Sandi for the Vintage Valentine Doll Swap. I used vintage fabrics and lace for her dress and bloomers and made the hearts on her crown of clay.

Vintage Valentine Doll Swap

Look what I got today! This adorable doll was made for me by my swap partner, Sandi Ramirez of Shweetpotatodollsnpatterns.com. She also sent me chocolate treats (mmm yum!) which didn't last long enough to be in the photos (lol). Thankyou so much Sandi, love her!! and the chocolates!

What i've been up to

Just busy running errands here and there and making a few sea creatures (not done yet)...still have a few sailboats and creatures to sew...when i'm done they're all going to Hawaii! The octopus and jellyfish have chenille stem inserts in all their tentacles, so they can be posed. The sailboat and jellyfish are made of canvas and the octopus of batik fabric, their eyes are glass beads.
The top photo is the view from my craft room...still snowing now....

Izzy the Fairy (new to etsy shop)

Izzy is 7.5 inches and wears a dress and undies of antique lace. Her wings are held in place with a pin (she sometimes takes them, puts them on her head and pretends to be a bunny!) Izzy's arms, legs, and wings are posable.
